16 August 2015The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-
M.T. O'Donovan, trainer of Cloudy Morning (going) - €200220A Philip Carroll Memorial M'dn H'dle
The Stewards received a report from Mr.W.Fleming , Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr D.T. Atkinson, rider of Davie's Delight , weighed in at 1.9 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore suspended him for one race day.
220B Tramore Amusement Park M'dn H'dleR. Walsh, rider of Sam King, trained by T.M. Walsh, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount accidentally clipped heals and stumbled at the top of the hill.
220C Frank Gillane Memorial H'cap H'dleJ.J. Burke, rider of Royal Chief, trained by Eoin Doyle, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled independently and was unseated.
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Finish In Style, trained by E. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal( samples taken for analysis).
